After working on my own work for the last month and half, which is about the last time I posted anything, I have finally sat down and read a book. I'm sorry it took so long, but I have been trying to keep my my open for my own ideas to flow onto paper, or in this day and age onto the computer. I have been working so hard on trying to get the second book, part 2, of my characters story done. I also started working a YA fantasy book. I'm hoping I can do it. Witches and Faeries and the rush to save the faery princess. Now as to not spoil what I'm working on with that I will leave it at that.
Now for the book I read. It was call Just For You by Leen Elle, but I can't find it on amazon.com anymore. Not sure if she took it off the list of kindle books, or what. If this is something you downloaded on your kindle or device you use for kindle, then I recommend that you read it.
I didn't want to put it down even though I had sometimes. It is a kind of romance. Not so much in it. Only one small part towards the end. I believe it is about showing that if one person just takes the time to be nice to another person and try and be friends that maybe that person will change a life. Also, I think it says just because sometimes your life feels like crap remember there is always tomorrow to be better and someone else could be having an even worse day than you.
I love the characters. There is Imogen, crazy unique name for a lady, and Cameron Moody. Imogen first meets Cameron when he is running late for work and pulls right into her and sprains her ankle. He takes her back into his apartment and bandages her up. That is when she sees a book very familiar to her. It is a week or so later that they run into each other again in a store when he is getting groceries. She was buying flowers. She invites him to join her for lunch and ends up eating lunch at his apartment and watching a game. The next he sees her is when his friend is coming over and she shows up before his friend, Todd, does. He tries to ignore the door. That didn't happen.
He is kind of bitter. He doesn't want to be her friend, but she keeps showing up. Do you think they will ever be friends? Want to know if they ever become more than friends? If you have downloaded it then read it. If you haven't then I wish could.
This book, I think brings a whole new prospective to people. It is worth the read if you can. I wish there was some way to get those who wish to read it from my library of books.
It may take me awhile between posts. I have 2 maybe 3 or 4 books that I am working on. When my brain feels fried is when I read. Reading also inspires me. I will try my best not to wait so long for me to read the next book. Oh and I will confess that this one was not the first one. I did read another, but I wasn't into it and took me forever to read. I couldn't get into. It was a historical romance, and took place in I want to say the highlands or the upper parts of England. Not sure because it is a mix of medieval English, meaning England, and either Ireland or Scotland tongue. It was called The Warrior's Maiden by Denise Domning. It might just be, but it felt like it would never get to where it was going. At least not in the beginning. After they got to the sheriff's homestead, it took off. Then I wanted to read it.
If you're like me and want to read through the parts that feel like it is dragging to see if there is somewhere it gets interesting for you, then you may wish to read it. It's on amazon.com. It available for $2.99. Now to warn you this is the 2nd book of 3. I did not know this at the time of starting to read it. The first one is The Warrior's Wife. If you like to read series in order. I know I do unless I didn't know it was a series to begin with.
I hope you enjoy some of the reads as I have. I only write my opinion of what I think about the book. If I don't like it or at first didn't like and then toward the of the book I did like it, I will let you know.
I feel that even if I don't like the book there will be someone out there that does. We all have our separate opinions on the things we read. I grew up with the love of books. One of the first big chapter books i ever read was a classic, The Little Women. I love that book and watched the movies. The next one I read was Moby Dick. The more I read the more my love of books grew. I had a friend introduce me to The Babysitter Club books. I read as many as I could borrow in school. As time went on I found my love romance. I also have a love of reading Shakespeare's work. For a while I was all about reading romance, but in the recent years I have let myself venture back in time to read some YA novels. I have found I like more than just romance.
That brings me to saying that all you have to do is start reading something to know if you like that genre. Don't rely on just one piece of work from a certain genre to determine if you like that genre. Just because one piece doesn't give you interest doesn't mean there is nothing in that genre you won't like. You have to be open minded and try. If you don't want to then that is your prerogative. I'm not saying you have to reading everything, I sure don't. I'm not a big fan of Science Fiction. I stay away from it for the most part. I do like some fantasy, most of includes romance. Yes, I have read the Star Wars books, only because I had been dating someone who was a huge fan. I will say I tried to read The Lord of The Ring, but I didn't understand it. Yes it was because another guy I dated was into that, but he also read romance novels and introduced me to some of my favorite authors today. Unfortunately, my husband isn't a big reader, well he doesn't read at all, but I have past my love of books to both my children. The imitate what you do, and both my son and daughter watch me read all the time, and because neither is reading on their own yet, I read to them as well. I have also taught them from a very young age how to treat books.
So you see just because I tell you how much I like or dislike a book doesn't mean you will like or dislike the same thing s as I do. I hope this helps you find some good reads. I will maybe start posting reviews on Goodreads.com as well. You can add me as a friend on there. if you like. That way you can see what I'm reading before I post something here.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy you reads.
Thank you!

I'm ... The Queen of Minor Disaters
The newest book I have read is quite entertaining. It is called The Queen of Minor Distasters: A chick-lit with recipes by by Antonietta Mariottini. Reading through the life of an Italian girl with a big Italian family. I'm not Italian, but I love reading about the big families they have. I may not have an Italian family, but my family is big even if it isn't all in one household.
The main character is only trying to find herself. He boyfriend breaks up with her, she is plays hostess at her family's restaurant, but she doesn't seem to know who she is outside of all that.
I love the fact that at the end of each chapter or most of them there is recipes for each dish she talks about in the chapter. Most sound really good and I may try to make some of them.
The summer season has started on the island and Stella is once again general manager at her family's restaurant. She has a good feeling that her boyfriend, Drew, of 3 years is going to finally propose. She calls him when her friend, Lucy calls to say she will be a while because of an accident. When she calls Drew she finds he is still in the city at his office where he works.
When she gets to Drew's apartment on Monday, she cooks him a wonderful meal expecting him to propose that night. She found the Tiffany's catalog in his bedroom. When he gets home and they have dinner is when he finally tells her that he doesn't think they are on the same page with what they want and he doesn't see himself marrying her.
She goes back to the island where her family's second restaurant is with her tail between her legs. Her mom informs her that a friend of the family son has returned home from Rome. The same boy that use to pick on her constantly. The boy that both the mother have been planning a wedding for for over 20 years.
Do you want to know how she deals with the break up from her long time boyfriend? Do you want some yummy recipes too? Do you want to know what happens with the boy she grew up with? You will have to read The Queen of Minor Distasters: A chick-lit with recipes by by Antonietta Mariottini for yourself. You can get your copy at amazon.com. It is only $2.99 for the kindle version.
Thank you for reading. Questions and comments welcome. Remember to follow whichever way you want to so you keep updated with new reviews. If you have already this book i would like you opinion of it. I won't judge if you didn't like it as much as I did.
Thank you!

Sitting ... On an Edge of Glass
I was captivated by the book On an Edge of Glass by Autumn Doughton. I was pulled in. I didn't want to put it down when I really had to just so I could go to bed and not be sleep deprived to make sure my oldest got to the bus stop on time and chase after my youngest one all day.
I was pulled in and left feeling the feelings of the character. The up and downs of trying to do what she thought she should be doing to what she really wanted to do with her life.
Definitely a romance I would recommend. I got it for free awhile back for my kindle, but right now it is $0.99. Under a dollar for a very good read. I suggest you take yourself to amazon.com and download your copy of it.
Ellie Glass is in her senior year of college about to take the LSATs and head off to Columbia, or so that is the plan. She plans on getting a high score on LSATs and after being accepted into the same college that not only both her parents had attended, but 5 generations of Glass lawyers have attended.
With one chance meeting in a coffee shop her mind is going wild for not getting the name of the guy that helped out with a little boy that was bothering her.
Along comes Ben Hamilton. He take the 4th bedroom when Ellie and her roommates lost their 4th roommate to a British guy. He is fresh out of a relationship. He is a musician not only in a band, but plays cello in the college orchestra. He stops Ellie dead in her tracks right after he moves in. From there they almost hardly ever see at first. Then they secretly date for a few weeks.
That is until Ellie is informed by the old band mate and the guy Ben's ex-girlfriend cheated on him with, that Ben had been engaged to his ex. It is like her whole world is crashing down around. Everything she wanted from life. The plan she was to follow.
To find out if she goes to Columbia, stays with Ben, if her life goes they way she planned you will have to read On an Edge of Glass by Autumn Doughton for yourself.
Thank you for reading. Questions, comments are welcome. Have you already read this book? Let me know what you think. Be sure to follow to know when there might be something else interesting to read.

Crazy as it sounds it was really ... Sealed With A Kiss
I love the Highlands! It is close to where there is still family members of mine in England. That is where Sealed With A Kiss by Rachel Lucas takes place. It actually starts out in England and ends in an island of Scotland called Auchenmor.
I'm not sure if other parts of my family have come from Scotland, or if there is Irish blood there, but I know there is some of one them. I like both.
I really like this read. as these posts go on. Most will find I love almost every book I read. I'm a definite book worm. I always have my nose in book. When I'm not writing my own of course, or chasing after my crazy little monsters.
Right now with a mind block on the second part of my character's story I have spending a lot of time reading. Just waiting for the next part to pop into my head. So I have read about 4 or five books now and still nothing, but it is a process that only I can follow. That is when I read this book.
Sure I may have purchased the book last spring, in fact only a few days before my oldest turn 5, but I have had almost 2000 books sitting on my kindle that I have only just now gotten to it. Whatever posts are before this one is how many I had on the 1 page until I got to this one. I still have over 1700 books sitting on my kindle. I am slowly getting through them.
Anyway. This book is kind of short. There are 15 chapters plus Preface. To forewarn if you aren't big on reading British ways of saying things then you won't like this, but I love it. I love anything as long as it is converted into English so I can read it. Not so big on other languages. I took German in high school as my language course with having German running through my veins as well. We were taught a little bit of Spanish in the 2nd grade. The most I can do is count to 12. I know a few French words from friends that took French in high school. I cannot read anything in any other language, but I most likely will love it if something is translated!
So if you love stories about the Highlands. then you may very well love this book. If you are looking for tons of romance, then not for you. If you want a read that you can't put down then I suggest you purchase this for your kindle. I got it for free, but right now it $2.15. Actually not too expensive. Under $3.00 and a good value for even that little of money.
Kate is dumped by her boyfriend at her best friend's wedding. She is left with no place to go and stays with her friend until she finds an ad for a job on an island as a girl Friday. She will work 3 days a week and have a place to live.
When she is walking down to cottage after visiting with her neighbors she falls into a hole in the road and almost crushes her new puppy. That is when she meets her new boss and the laird of the isle.
Kate falls for him. they share one passionate kiss and he had to leave the island without one word about the kiss. When he gets back a month later he finds her with another man in her cottage. He thinks he lost his chance with her. Then his old girlfriend comes back. What he doesn't know is she is there for is to find something to give her a big break in the journalism community.
Will they be able to get over everything and fall for each other? You will need to get your own copy of Sealed With A Kiss by Rachel Lucas. I hope you will enjoy as much as I did!
Thank you for reading! Questions and comments welcome. Opinions are welcome as well.

I hate those ... Thin Rich Bitches
So this latest book Thin Rich Bitches by Janet Eve Josselyn was actually good. I don't know the exact genre that it is from since it technically is not considered a romance novel. There is no romance in this whatsoever. It is definitely an adult book. There is adult language in this book.
Other than that, I say it was pretty good. I got my copy on amazon.com for the kindle. When I got it it was free now it is now $2.99, which isn't a bad price.
It is very entertaining. Funny. It is about a woman trying to find herself in the world after leaving a 11 year marriage.
Pippin Snowe and her son, Zeke, move to a exclusive community of Dover, Mass. She moves into her aunt Scotty's old falling down farm house with a dog that can't see well, an over weight cat who like cereal, a spitting llama, and 3 pigmy goats. She gets a job with an architect in the neighboring town and is renovating the Kitchens of the well-to-do people in the town she has moved into. They all treat her like their hired help they have in there. She goes through the ups and downs of trying to find her way at the age of 40 and being recently divorced from her husband who impregnated a paralegal.
If you want to see how she handles the journey of her life then be sure to read Thin Rich Bitches by Janet Eve Josselyn. You will love it.
Thank you for reading. A reminder.: all questions or any comments are welcome. Leave them in the comment box below. I value your opinion if you have read any book I have. I will do ... Anything You Ask
Finished another kindle book last night, well this morning really, but anyway. The last one I read was an good book. Short but good. Kind of funny and sad at the same time. The book is called Anything You Ask by Lynn Kellan. She did a wonderful job with this story.
It is about a woman is lost her husband due to a tragic accident of him fallen through rotten boards in their barn and having to be rushed to the hospital only to have a massive heart attack on the way claiming his life. Months later after her husband left her and their twin boys with a pile of debt she asks for his brother to come home. Only his brother is what you think. The brother is actually deaf. Not something you read much about in a romance.
Most romance novel, book, whatever type of work it is, have handsome males that are rich. The women are usually really beautiful and have something other than debt that they have to work through.
I also love that this book is set in the country land of PA. In fact the place it is set in is actually about 45 mins to maybe 1 1/2 hours depending on traffic and the way traveled from where I live. I actually have family that lives in the town the main women character works in. In fact my aunt is an actual professor at the same college this character teaches at. That could be one of the reason I like this work so much.
I will never claim to be a true country girl. Camo and cowboy/girl boots don't make you a country boy or girl either. I like camo things, but choose not to wear or have it most of the time. I love cowboy/girl boots. I have found a pair that I would really love to have, but don't really have the money for. I love riding horses, but in no way does that make me a country girl. I pretty sure some one could live on a farm and still not be considered country. I actually prefer the city life. I love clubbing even though I don't have the money to do so and I have my 2 kids so they come first. I would rather live on the outskirts to a big city than live in the country.
Anyway Lynn a lovely job on her bringing this love story to life.
Danielle lost her husband to a tragic accident and heart attack. What she hadn't known until he was gone that he left her with a pile of debt and a broken down farm that would soon go under if she didn't figure out some way to get help so it could bring in money. She turns to her late husband's brother.
Hale Cooper left the farm 6 years before when the barn on the family barn caught fire. His father disowned him. When he left he took with him some secrets. Danielle had kept in contact with him. Texting him news when things happened. Due to him being deaf he couldn't really talk on the phone even with his hearing aid in his left ear. She had sent him a text saying she needed help. He dropped everything in Oklahoma and rushed back home to her to find the family farm in disrepair. That is the first time he meet his two young nephews. He figures to get what he wants and to get her out of debt they should marry for the next 6 months. What she doesn't know is the secrets he carries into the marriage with him.
Will Hale ever reveal the dark secrets he carries to Danielle? Will she fall in love with Hale or at the end of 6 months will she leave him with the farm he wants?
You will have to read Anything You Ask by Lynn Kellan to find out.
Thank you for reading. Questions and comments welcome. Read it? Tell me what you think of it. Be sure to follow to keep up-to-date on when things are posted.

All three follow the lives of 2 brothers and their best friend who signed a bachelor pact when they were younger that they would never ever get married. The first to break the pact was Chase. The other 2 take their time and may possibly break their pact as well.

Can't wait to say - Marry Me, Maddie
Marry Me, Maddie by Rita Herron was quite a twist and turns romance. Not a mystery romance or thriller romance, but just a lot of secrets that people didn't want to be exposed. It is one story in The Bachelor Pact.
Do you want to read through the twist and turns of this story? You can get it on amazon.com right now for $0.99. Just search for The Bachelor Pact by Rita Herron.
I will be starting on the next one in the book which is Sleepless In Savannah.
Maddie takes her long time boyfriend to her friend's talk show in order to either take it to the next level and make a commitment or it is time to move on. That is when Jeff couldn't give her a yes and she thought it time to move on. He moving on was to try dating all different kinds of guys, but there has been someone who she would like to be with.
Chase is trying to get rid of his bad boy rep. He put himself through college and started a construction business with his friends, who are Maddie's older brothers. He battles his feelings he has for his friend's little sister, but when they put him in charge of baby sitting her while she is doing her job of decorating the homes they have been working and making sure she doesn't go all crazy and outlandish with her designs. Keeping an eye on her can he keep his hands off her?
To find out you will have to read for yourself.
Thank you for reading. Questions and comments welcome. Be sure to follow to keep up-to-date with posts.

In the end it will be - The Heart's Victory
I have finished the second story in Nora Roberts Forever. It was just as good as the first one. The second one is The Heart's Victory. A story about a struggle with the heart. Actually, the both are dealing with the struggle of what the heart wants.
Being that I'm a big Nora Roberts fan, these were one of my favorites. What am I saying? They are all my favorites. Between her and Jude Deveraux I can't get enough. Sure i have added a few more to the mix in the last year, but these two will remain my favorites of all time.
Cynthia Fox grew up on the race circuit from the age of thirteen with her brother who is ten years older than her. He took over the care of her when their parents were killed in a car accident that Cynthia survived. It is on the race circuit that she gained the nick name "Foxy."
While growing up on the circuit she met Lance Matthews. He was a fellow driver to her brother. Foxy fell in love until one night when neither could sleep and she said some hurtful things to her. She was sixteen at the time.
She went off to college to study photography and took up a career in freelance photography which is how she ended back on the circuit after a few years of not being there. She was following taking pictures for a writer who was doing articles on the Gran Prix racing circuit.
Lance was no longer driving. In fact he was now a car owner and Kirk, Foxy's brother, was now his driver. Foxy vowed she would never love Lance again. She tried her best to stay away from. She ever tried dating the team manager, who to her was dull and stayed right on schedule. With everything! She did her best to stay away from Lance, but what is she to do when he won't stay away from her?
To find out what she does and where their relationship goes you will have to read The Heart's Victory, which is the second story in Forever by Nora Roberts. I hope you like it as much as I did.
Thank you for reading. Comments and questions are welcome. Got something you think I should read let me know. When I'm not writing my own stuff then I'm usually reading something. Be sure to follow to keep up-to-date. I guess it is time to charge the kindle again!
Thank you!

They always change the - Rules of the Game
It has been a few weeks since I have sat down to read anything besides my own writing, that right now is being edited by my friend and editor. Last week while buying my kids some new movies to watch, since my son has been big on Teen Beach Movie from the Disney channel, I had to make sure I got that for him like I had promised. Plus, my two year old wanted a new movie, and apparently not some cartoon movie either. She picked out Disney channel's Austin and Ally. It has 7 episodes on it. Buying those plus, buying the first season of Vampire Diaries, which I still have yet to watch any seasons. That is when I bought my latest read.
Did I ever say how much I love reading anything Nora Roberts reads? Well, one of her books is what I got to read now. The book is Forever, which has two stories in it. I have read one so far. Rules of the Game was compelling and had a lot of baseball in it.
I'm not a big baseball fan. i like watching the little ones play, but not much for the majors. Plus, I don't understand any of the lingo in baseball, so it ends at just watching and cheering on my family members that play. Now if my one cousin had been able to make it to the big time I might have paid more attention to the lingo.
Brooke is commercial producer, Parks Jones is a baseball player for the Kings in LA.
Parks agent has him in a contact with a clothing line, De Marco, to shoot commercials with the top commercial producer in the business.
Brooke is the producer selected to do the commercials for De Marco line.
Brooke's boss takes her to a home game for her to watch Parks play. That is when they first meet. Well, not so much meet, but he asks her name as he is trying to catch the foul ball that goes into the stands. After that he takes her out for dinner. He finds she works int he filming industry, but does not reveal that she will his boss when filming commercials. They then meet again at a party hosted by Brooke's boss for the De Marco line, that is where he finds out that she will be the producer he will be working with.
He is upset that she omitted that on their date.
Brooke has been on her own for most of her life. She grew up bouncing from one foster home to another. She once gave her heart to someone she thought she loved for him to take everything she owned and left her only a note. The question is can she ever give her heart to someone who could truely love her?
To find out if she gives her stone heart to someone who will help heal and protect you will have to get your own copy of Nora Roberts Forever to read Rules of the Game. Along with that you will also be able to read The Heart's Victory.
Thank you for reading. Share any questions or comments or anything at all in the comment box. Keep up-to-date by following. Every time I post a new read review you will be notified, before I post it to Twitter.
Thank you!

I'm going to need a bandage for the ... Afterburn! Beware adult content.
I read a book that I had been waiting on since I read the sneak peek by Sylvia Day. Afterburn was hot! It kept me on the edge of the seat. Even the few sex scenes were hot. Sylvia Day is a wonderful author. She can bring out a hot scene and gets you fantasizing more than most romance novels. I guess that's why they call the Erotic Romance.
I got this book for my kindle for $1.99 on Amazon. I waited for about a week after it was released before I was able to downloaded it. I'm glad I waited too. That meant getting it a little cheaper. Although it sucks that we have to wait until November 2013 for the second part of the book to come out. That one is Aftershock.
Now just as a warning this is only about 10 chapters long. Not normal for her books, but other than that it is a good book. You can buy it in paperback when the second part come out or get it for the kindle right. As of right now the kindle edition is still $1.99. Don't know if it will go up in price or not. I thought I had first seen it for $2.99 or $3.99, but I guess not. Now that I look at it the suggested retail for kindle is $3.99.
This story is about Gianna Rossi and Jackson Rutledge. Two years before they had a 5 week fling. Then after those 5 weeks he walked out of her life without a word. Gianna had been in love. Then 2 years later he shows back up in her life when she is trying to score the biggest deal of her life. He is right in the middle of it.
To find out if they continue their love affair, and how her deal goes you will have to read Afterburn by Sylvia Day yourself.
Thank you for reading. I will post again once I have read something else. Not sure when that will be. I had applied for a job and have my first interview tomorrow! As much as I love reading and writing, we have to quit struggling to get by week after week. If I got my book I wrote published and many many people bought it and it was enough to pay bills and be able to put money into savings I would forget going back to a full time job. But hey a family has to what they have to get by.
Thank you and remember to follow the blog to get the latest updates. Also, leave any comments or questions that you want. Just remember please don't judge me for what I read and i won't judge you for what you read and like. Thank you for reading. Until the next read.
Thank you!

My oh, my ... The Vincent Boys
So on Friday I was out finishing up school shopping for my 5 year-old son, who starts his first year of school on Wednesday, when I was searching for a new book to read. Sure, I have plenty on my kindle waiting to be read so I can start looking ta the blogs i follow for new ones to read. I'm sure i am missing out on some good ones while I slowly clear what I already have on there off. Anyway, I found a YA novel at BAM! that was on the clearance shelves. It was only $3.00 so I picked it up and read the back of the book like I usually do when I want to see if a book is worth my time just from the description. So I like what little I read, since I never actually finished reading the back and bought the book. Since I am a club member of BAM! I got a few cents off the clearance price. (Hey, a few cents is a few cents when you have budget that most of the time gets off course)
Anyway the book is called The Vincent Boys by Abbi Glines. Not a very catchy title, but I suppose not all books can be judged by the title like you can't judge a book by the cover. This is a YA (young adult) Romance novel. So primarily for the older teenage girls, boys too if they are into that kind of thing, but usually not. As for why I read it, I have been writing in the YA genre, if this is the first post you are reading. i read in another blog that you should read everything and anything in the genre that you are writing in, but then I read in another blog that you shouldn't read anything in the genre you are writing in. So what do I do you ask? I read anything I want.
I am a big supporter in reading what you like. Read what appeals to you, Read what inspires you. Some take it a step further, like I did, and write what inspires them. I may be 29 years-old, but to read a YA takes me back to my high school days, which I loved for the most part. Even though I enjoy reading romance novel or erotic romance novels, I still like to take a trip down memory lane and read anything that will take me back to when I didn't have much of a care in the world, but hanging with my friends, or being with guy I was dating at the time, and no I was not changing boyfriends like I changed underwear. I only had 2 BFs in while in high school, both more or less out of the picture, with only one I talk to occasionally.
So anyway, I loved the book. I would read it a again. Like I said you can't judge this book by the title of it. You have to open it up be it kindle or whatever e-reader version, or get a copy in paperback or hardback and enjoy it. If you are a parent of a high school girl say 16 and up, then it might make a good book for them. There is a moral to this story. That is : Don't pretend to be someone you're not for the sake of another person. It will only hurt you and the other person in the end.
This is a story about Ashton Gray and Beau Vincent. Ashton is dating Beau's cousin Sawyer. They had been dating for 3 years when the story starts. Sawyer is off with his family for a family getaway while Ash is left home with no one really around. Her only real friend Leann officially started dating a guy and was either with him or working over the summer before going off to college. In comes Beau. Beau, Ash, and Sawyer were friends long before Sawyer and Ashton started dating. When Beau seen that they were dating he and Ash seemed to go their separate ways.
Everything changed when Ash helps Beau and his on-again-off-again girl friend home when they are both too drunk to get home by themselves. They have a short talk that night. The next day everything in Ashton's life changes. Her Grana, grandmother those who aren't from the south, since this takes place in Alabama, comes home and Ashton goes over there to visit. After that she is doing things she hasn't wanted to do since right before she and Sawyer started dating.
To find out what happens between Ashton and Sawyer, Ashton and Beau, and Beau and Sawyer, who are cousins, or maybe they aren't, you won't know until you read the book for yourself.
You look on amazon.com to buy a copy or search the site of your favorite bookstore to get your copy. I found it while looking for a YA that would cover the same topic I cover in my own work. My book is a YA, but deals with some depression, and with time in the other books will be mixed with a little romance, all set for our YA readers.
Do you want to know more about Abbi Glines? You can check out her website abbiglines.com or find her on twitter @abbiglines.
Thank you for reading and for being patient. Remember to get up-to-date when I post please follow my blog. It will be quicker than trying to find it when I post the link to my Twitter account. That you can find on Twitter my handle is @tygermom08. Also, any questions or comments just leave them in the comment box below. Once again thank you for reading. Watch for the next. Not sure when that will be. School year is starting Soccer season starting. Last but not least the editing of my book needs to be done. I will read something soon though!
Thank you!

It's too late for me to make a ... Buggy List
After however many weeks it has been since I read a book, I have finally sat down and in 2 nights read one for you all. I have The Buggy List for you. The Buggy List - Courtney Rice Gager was a good book. It is kind of a romance story. It is more so about rekindling the romance in a marriage.
I liked it was cute. It was quite funny as well. It definitely gives you an idea of something you could do to get a spark back in your love life. Also if you have some things you want tom accomplish, it can give you ideas of doing your own buggy list before you have kids.
Libby and Drew were married for 6 years and Libby had decided she was ready to get ready to have a baby. Her sister told her she should create a list of things to do, like a bucket list, but not a list of thinge to do before dying, but a list to do before having children.
To know how she deals with all the ups and downs of the list they make you will have to go to amazon.com and download The Buggy List by Courtney Rice Gager. Sorry no websites to go to to find more work, no Facebook or Twitter pages either.
Thank you for reading and on to the next read. Not sure how long it will be before the next, but I will keep you posted. Just so you know I am just over halfway finished with the writing of my book before I will be editing it! Yay! Okay thank you once again for reading.

So I said it would be a little while before I read anymore books, that fact is definitely true. I really have been working on my book for the last few weeks. I have edited, got discouraged, edited it again and finally got what I wanted for the first half of the book. After all the struggling when I got discouraged I finally land on the fact that this book needed 2 parts. The Realization and The Reveal. Not sure if when I continue her story with another book that there will be 2 parts to those as well. There could be, but I'm not working on her other stories and problems yet. I just have to get through this one first. She will have probably 2 more stories to tell after this or the 2nd and 3rd parts of her story may be combined into one. Still haven't decided yet.
So who out there wants an idea about what my book deals with? If your sitting there yelling "I do, I do." then this is look no further. I don't have any info on it being for sale. Of it isn't even finished yet. I also haven't decided how I am going to go about publishing. I don't know if I'm going to go the traditional route and send it to Lit agents to see if and see if anyone is interested in my book(s) and willing to find a publisher to publish it.
So an idea of my book like I promise.
Jessie had been only 13 when she lost her parents. She seen things that most 13 year-old kids would never see. Those things she had seen were left weighing on her and causing her not to be able to move on with her life. She, her brothers, and new baby sister move in with their aunt and uncle and 4 cousins to a little town outside and opposite of the city that they had grown up in. It takes 4 years, which is where the story start, for anyone to realize that she had never gotten close to the way she had been before they lost their parents. Her older brother intervenes and forces her to face the truth of her feelings.
If you think you might like to read something like this, then I hope at some point you will be able to. The goal is to finish, figure out how I'm going to go about getting it published, and get out there for the young adult masses to read, or anyone else who wishes to read it. To be forewarned this is for a little more mature audience. The character is 17. She has dealt with a lot and some of the scenes go into to details about how her parents were killed. They were not murdered. But it is something you will have to until it hits bookstores to read.
I want to thank you for reading. If you wish to know about me as an author and get more insights I do have a personal blog. http://jrtyger.blogspot.com/ that is where you can keep up with my likes and dislikes. Everything you want or need to know about me. I post as often as I can on that one. You will find just about everything about me outside of all of the writing and blogging. Be sure to follow both blogs to keep up-to-date on any and all posts!
Thank you readers!

Getting this out quickly
Okay,s o this is going to be quick. I just want to say I am grateful to anyone who reads this blog. I hate that I am keeping you waiting for a new post. I could be reading, but so badly want to get my own book finished. In will be the first one of at least 3 books. I hope!!! I will try and keep you updated.
As I was doing some research on something I was trying to find an answer to I came across something that may be a better route for me. So hopefully I can finish my own writing and get it published without the help of a publisher, or should I say the help of a traditional publisher. i hope to have this finished soon.
My only problem right now is that I am editing once again and this one part just doesn't make sense as it once has so I am rewriting it. I sat one night trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with my scenes and finally came to the conclusion that I wasn't giving a whole scene. I was just breaking it a apart and only giving bits and pieces of the scene. I hope I have fixed everything up til where I am stuck now. Then hopefully once I get past this stuck spot I can finish the editing and then figure out what comes next in the book. I got a block as to what needs to be said not so much as what is going to happen but what will be said in the scene.
Thank you for the patience. I appreciate it very much. I would like finish this and read a book or two before I start book number 2. Thank you and watch for the next post! I apologize for it being so long for a check in. We had had a yard sale over the last weekend and it happen to take place at my mom's and my two little loves and I stayed there as so we didn't have to wake at 6 a.m. EST to get around and drive 20 minutes to her place.
Once again thank you!

Kepp on pushing it back.
Okay, so I have been trying to find some stuff on depression other than a how to detect it for over a year. Well, more like two years. I have tried emailing a physiologist, or two. I didn't get an answer for one, but the other one told me I should stick to what I know and not write about a depressed girl fighting her way out of it.
I have been off and on to search for info on depression. I have come across quotes from people that had been posted on a blog. After two years of struggling on how to get info on depression I finally found some blogs on it. I will be reading those on how people deal with and work on getting out of depression.
I have thought of taking a break just to read a little just for you lovely readers. I know if I do I will put my own writing on the back burner yet again. I am yet again editing. I got to my old chapter 9, now chapter 21, and lost my train of thought, but I am all about adding even more to the others. Fixing the chapters i do have so they make more sense. So they give you a picture, not just a bunch of words, of this girl struggling with depression to her trying to overcome it, as well as finding her way through life and making her way to adulthood.
I promise I will start reading again. I need my books like I need to breath. I sorry I'm taking so long to get on with the next read. I hope you are being patient. I am glad for those who are. thank you so much.

A break in time
So as I had said in my last post when I posted maybe a week or so ago, I am pausing for a time with reading to work on my own work. I did get all of what I have so far edited, but I think it still isn't perfect. I am still working on and haven't felt like reading work by anyone else. I keep sitting here trying to figure out how the best way to get across what it is I want to say in my writing that I get lost. I promise I will read again. I love reading and I can't stay away for long.
Today Harry Potter had been on t.v. so I have been watching that with my mini me. She keeps me busy most days along with my other little monster. Along with trying to deal with my husbands new work schedule and soon school will be starting and I will be send off my oldest to kindergarten for the first time. Those of you who have children that are school age know what I'm talking about. It is end of July and it is time to start buying school clothes and supplies and getting everything ready for that first day of school and busy sports schedules, if your children play sports. My kindergartener will be playing soccer.
I thank you for you patience while I am dealing with some weird private home life and a major work I have been working on. I want it perfect before I even think about sending anything to a Lit. agent or publisher. I will keep updating as I work, it just might be less often than every few days.
Thank you for your continued support. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read what I have to say. I promise if you have something to say I will take the time to read what you have to say. We all have our opinions, and as long as you respect mine I will respect yours.
Thank you for reading. Keep an eye out for the next!

A pause in time.
So I finally did finish that last book. I was very disappointed in the ending. I can only hope that my work is a lot better than that. It's usually rare that I find a book I don't like as much as that one. Well, I can say there were a few series I was to I should read that I couldn't even finish the books, they bored me that much and i just didn't care how they ended. Namely Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, and there was something else but I can't think of it right now. I have watched the movies. Can't say I liked those that much either. I know they are classics. I prefer The Hobbit to the others. That I have read. We had to read that in school when I was younger. I can't remember what year, but I did. I have read some other Sci-Fi books that I have liked a lot. I guess some things are just better than others.
So I am taking a pause for minute or two to work on my own writing. Last night I started editing from my original chapter 4, that by the time I was done with the editing is now chapter 7 and 8. I originally had 9 chapters it is now up to 21 chapters, with still more to get done. I have over 35000 word count and still going. Not sure if it will ever get to the 130000 word count like Twilight is, but I may get close. I am far from done with this one and it could become more than one book. I only can cross my fingers and hope that once I finished I can persuade someone to publish it.
I have yet to find a book that has a teenage girl dealing with depression. If someone knows of a fictional book of this please leave me the title and author of the book. I would like to see other perspective on it. No I do not what it to plagiarize someone's work. I like being inspired though. I t makes me work that much harder to get things done. Unless it is cleaning that is.
So if I seem MIA for the next few days or so then I am sorry. I'm also rereading Fifty Shades of Grey. When I'm not working on my stuff. I actually started last night about 6 pm once I finished coloring my hair and didn't quit until 4 am this morning.
So I'm on a roll with getting this done, and I still have one full original chapter to edit before finish off my new chapter 21. Then I get to add more to my work.
In the meantime, if you have any ideas on a book for me to dig into leave me the info on it. You can leave any comments or questions as well.
Thank you for reading. On to the next read very soon.

I don't want to go to... Parts Unknown
Please, someone scrape my eyeballs out and clean out with bleach. Parts Unknown by S. P. Davidson is so awful. It is driving me nuts because I want to know how it is ends, but then again I just want to throw my kindle at the wall and so forget it. I am going to finish it, but only so I can get the answer to who this woman ends up with.
I have read boring books before, but this one is way past boring. This one sucks balls. Sorry for weird uncalled for sayings, but I have been repeating these sayings with every turn of a page. If you're offended, I am sorry, but you would only have to read this book to understand. This will be a short review/opinion of the book. Only because it sucks. If it were a paper book I would be taking it back to get my money back, but it is not.
You can't judge a book by its cover. Not ever!
So Vivian Lewis is from a low income type family. She wants to be an artist. She is off at college and decides to do a year abroad. She meets Josh, the man of her dreams and an aspiring writer. They spend 3 weeks together before she starts her studies abroad and he goes home to finish his senior year of college.
5 years later? She is married to an older gentleman, George, a professor at the local college in L.A. He is a momma's boy. His mother doe not approve of Vivian, but they have supplied her with a grand-daughter. Vivian finds an ad in the newspaper that shows her 3 week fling and love of her life will be at the local B&N for a book signing.
She starts painting again. It has been a long time since she has painted, it is just something her husband doesn't understand.
Do you need to know if she leaves her husband to be with the love her life, or does she stay in a safe marriage? You are more than welcome to download your copy of Parts Unknown by S. P. Davidson. You have been warned that it isn't great or even good. Once again that is my opinion. You may not agree. That is for you to decide. Just so you know it is $2.99 at amazon.com for download. I got mine for free, but if I had known about it and had paid money I feel I would have wasted money on something I could have gotten something better with.
Questions, comments, and recommendations welcome. Just leave them in the comment box. As so to keep updated with ever new post be sure to follow.
Thank you for reading. Once I figure out the ending I will be on to the next read.

I am... The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back.
I have to say The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back by Sariah Wilson, was really good. I am all about the Cinderella stories. It is my favorite Disney movie from when I was a little girl, and is still my favorite today. I have watch the Disney Cinderella Story movies they air on t.v. It never gets old. At least not for me. If you have a teenage daughter that loves those kind of movies then this is definitely the book for her. Even for yourself if you enjoy them as well.
I wish I could be Cinderella sometimes, but of course that is just a fantasy. A much as I like these kind of stories, it is not something I could write. At least not at the moment. I have other things I am choosing to write about in my own work that is far from love, but not completely. It is a YA novel, but it deals with more than the high school affairs.
Off the more depressing things for now. I don't want to ruin my mood from finishing the book. I'm in such a giddy mood that I have to go back and keep fixing my spelling because I am typing faster than my mind is working. Oh wait, that's all the time. Also the reason why I have to go back and edit a lot too. Well, actually the editing I had been working, still working on, is mainly so I can make sure things are pieced together correctly. I have the problem with having one idea and while I am putting that all together another one comes in and I have to write that down, so then I go back to first one and forget what I was doing and have to start from the beginning.
So I have to say getting away from my own work sometimes gets me to where I need to be. This one, however, does no such things since it way off topic. Although there are similar things. The struggles teens go through, things that some actually deal with in real life, if not completely accurate. I guess you can't too accurate, you have to put something in there that will catch the readers, so they continue to read your work. That is just what Sariah Wilson did with this work of hers.
So there is Matilda Lowe, as everyone in school knows her Mattie, and at home she is Tilly, She is a Senior in high school and is majorly in love with Jake Kingston, a.k.a her stepsister's boyfriend. She has not actually talked to him since she ran into him in her home outside the bathroom after she had finished with her shower. After that the next time she had any conversation with him is when they were both in detention on the second day of school their senior year.
Mattie has never told anyone, besides maybe her guy friend, Trent Holden, that she likes Jake. Jake is the jock, who is smart and does nice things for everyone. He tries to con Mattie into covering for him in detention so he can leave when the supervising teacher goes out of the room and leaves them a lone.
After that is the first time she tells her stepsister, Ella Christensen, that she is in love with Jake. Ella immediately breaks up with Jake. Then they have a class assignment they have to work on and he yet again tries to get to get her to cover for him. He wants her to do all the work and just tell him what he has to say when they do the presentation. Yet again she stands up for herself and doesn't it let him get away with it.
With all this liking Jake she feels like she will never have a chance with him because she isn't extremely beautiful, not popular, not into doing a whole lot of anything other than drawing.
Do you want to know if she ever gets her prince? How she handles the stress of figuring out if a boy she likes really likes her or is using her? How she deals with the pressure of others teasing her for who she likes? Then you will have to read The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back by Sariah Wilson.

A forewarning about... The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back
I did not know this before I started reading this I did not realize this was a Young Adult novel. So if that is not your then this is a forewarning for you if you don't like YA books.
From what I read so far it sounds pretty good. Good for your teenage daughters, if you have those. I figured since most of my posts consist of romance or fantasy romance, but sometimes I put in some other genre here and there, and usually I have some type forewarning as what it might genre the book might be from, but this one I had no clue.
I thought it was about some stepsisters that grew up and are fighting over one man, but it is not. So this is your warning now if you haven't downloaded it yet or started reading it.
Thank you!

I want... Three Days With Molly.
Not really, but you get the hint. Three Days With Molly by Jan Romes was a page turning, funny story. It was a short story, but still quite funny. I would love me a hot, steamy musician like the one in this book. Yum yum!
I might not be the prettiest girl on the block and this is how the lovely lead female feels in this book, but if a man like the would have given me the time of day, I would have jumped. Now, I am happy in what I have now, but given the chance before marriage, before kids... I might have actually gone a different path. Not every happy couple/family is what the people may want down the line. Not every one of those marriages end in divorce, those people only dream of what they wish they could have, but not actually act on those dreams. So do, but not in my stories I read. Then again they get what they want.
If this momma got what she wanted she would be on the west coast. I would take me a hot and steamy musician, but my fantasy is a Christian Grey or Gideon Cross. In fact I would die if I could actually play the part of Anastasia Steele. I wish I could play her part, but I am not a big Hollywood hotshot, and I have never acted a day in my life, at least not in any plays, well not since the 6th grade, and not any crap job of a movie like most actors start out as.
Aside from that now, I am here to talk about Three Days With Molly, not my hopes and dreams that I use to have and things I wish was. This book was a laughter in itself. It had me turning pages to see what the characters did next.
Finn Riley, a famous Country Rock star, was talking to his agent, well really just agreeing with his agent that he needs an assistant. Finn hates other people in his space, which is why he had a separate tour bus from the rest of his band just so he has a clean organized area for himself.
In walks Molly Williams, an assistant to a divorce lawyer, asked by the stars agent to be his assistant for Finn's summer tour. Cork, the agent, and Molly have known each other for years. Their parents are friends and he use to be the one to pull her pig tails on the bus to school. He asked Molly to do this apparently in hopes of creating a good match. What Cork didn't know is that they would both fight any feelings from the start.
Do you want to know if the 3 days they spend together on the tour bus brings close to one another? Do you want to know if Finn ever quits being so harsh to everyone? Do they give in to their feelings? Find out by getting you copy of Three Days With Molly by Jan Romes. I got mine from amazon.com for free, but right now it is available for download for only $0.99.

I might not be the prettiest girl on the block and this is how the lovely lead female feels in this book, but if a man like the would have given me the time of day, I would have jumped. Only going... Once Around
Once Around by Barbara Bretton was definitely a page turner. I couldn't put the book down. I reluctantly did last night/this morning at about 3 am. Not all the chapters are marked so when I was waiting for the next chapter all I would come across was the # symbol. Every once in a while there would be a chapter number, but not so very often.
Last night it was only myself and my baby girl who decided at 8:30 pm EST, she was going to bed. There were fireworks that was held for one of local festivities last night and they didn't start until 10 pm. Instead of going to watch those and meet up with my parents who had my lovely son there I relaxed, waiting to see if they brought him home last night afterward the fact or took him back home with them. By 11:00 pm I was back in bed reading a page turner that I only finished about 10 minutes ago.
I hope this is a page turner for everyone who reads romance novels like I do. I don't think this book will go on my list of must read a hundred times, like Fifty Shades of Grey and the CrossFire novels, but it was good. You can decide if you wish to read it just from what I give you about the book. I promise I won't give away the ending that way you have to read if you want to know what happens to the characters.
First set of characters.
Molly Chamberlain is talking on the phone with her soon to be ex-husband, when he says he wants to come home... to get his stuff. She is about 4 months pregnant and he had left her 2 months before for a judge's daughter. After a doctor's appointment the following day she stops at the store to get some things and finds she no longer has credit cards, plus no cash on hand. She heads home only to find her husband cleaned out the house they had shared together, leaving her only the stuff that had been in the guest bedroom from their old apartment.
Rafeal Garrick was walking up to the house when he heard a curdling scream come from inside the intended house of his approach. He raced in and just in time to catch Molly when she almost fell to the floor. She told him what happened and he reluctantly helped her. Gave her some used furniture, and worked off the money that Molly's husband had put a down payment to the Rafe to finish the basement in the house, by doing odd thing around the house. Rafe had fallen for her the first night when she fell into his arms, but he had a dirty secret. (Which you will have to read the book to find out what it is.)
Second set of characters.
Spencer Mackenzie is Molly's divorce lawyer. He is from a well-to-do family that is from Greenwich. He had moved to NYC/Jersey area due to family problems. He thinks he is in love with Molly, is waiting until she is free and clear of her husband, Robert, to make his move. He has never known real love being the second best to his older , deceased, brother. He thought all marriages were the same. That was until he found Jessy.
Jessy Wyatt is from Mississippi. She came to Jersey for residency after being in Dallas for her internship. she is practicing to become a OB-GYN. She becomes a border in Molly's home when Molly finds she wasn't going to be able to pay for things on her own with her part time work she did at home for the publishing company she worked for. The day of meeting he new, landlady is when she meets Spencer, and knows she is in love. She has found her dream. Now she just has to find away to take his eyes off Molly, and get his eyes on her.
Do both sets of characters figure things out? Does the line of Jessy loves Spencer, Spencer loves Molly, Rafe love Molly end and they find the one they are to love? You will have to read Once Around by Barbara Bretton to find out.
I got my copy for free on amazon.com, but right now it is not free. You can download it for $2.99 for the kindle. Not sure about the other ones. Haven't had time to look yet. I will warn you though, since I forgot to before, there are a lot of mistakes with spelling in this book. That is if they haven't already fixed it and updated it. I haven't updated mine. I only downloaded it maybe a month ago. It might be longer since I haven't been downloading anything new for a month or so. I want to read down some of these books. There are so many on my kindle and I usually download 3 or more a day, but I don't read 3 or more books a day. If I did this blog would be blowing up with all kinds of info on books. Plus I don't read quite that fast. I could read a Harlequin book from 9 am to 3 or 5 pm on a good day and that was before I had kids.
So if you want to find more reads by this author, which I think I seen there was 50 or more of her work other there floating around, then I have a list for you below of all the way to keep up with Barbara Bretton.

I'm the Dixie good girl amd she is the... Dixie Rebel
This one I started reading 2 mornings ago, and finished this morning at 12:30 am. I enjoyed it very much. I certainly am not a Dixie girl, but I love the South, especially North Carolina. I have vacationed there a few times pre-marriage and kids. I had a blast, and wish I could move there. That is one of the many places I would love to move to. So being that I love the NC so much it isn't out of norm that I love the book Dixie Rebel by Patricia Rice.
I was sucked right into this book. It is part of the Carolina Magnolia Series and is book 1 of the series. There are 3 other books in the series. They are want I want to read, but will have to wait until my lovely husband is on his regular schedule at his new job, plus we get our bills caught up, before I can buy them. Dixie Rebel I downloaded for free from amazon.com a month or so ago. It is now $0.99. The other are $3.99 or more. Those will go on my list to buy. Now that is a long list, but will get bought since I am an avid reader.
Maya Alyssum is running her sister's shop while she is incarcerated for drugs. She is also caring for her nephew Matty, as well as trying to keep herself afloat alone with her own baby due in a few weeks. She had come into Wadeville, NC from CA with only a few items. She also got together with a local when she moved to town, and they opened a school for after regular school called The Impossible Dream. It is a place where all kids can go no mater how much money or how little money or how smart or learning level they are at, to feel as if they belong and that their dreams can come true.
Axell Holm is the council board and the Mayor wants him to get Maya to shut down the school she is running because he wants the land the mansion is on for a road he wants to put in that will go to the shopping center he has plans to put in. When Axell walks into the shop he isn't sure what to expect but he doesn't expect to be attracted to a pregnant Maya. He denies to himself that he is attracted to her. Talks to her about being on her side of not allowing the mayor to take away her school.
A few weeks go by with a little communication between the 2 and Maya's sister's store gets condemned and she is staying on the top floors of the mansion when it rains and floods the road to the school. It is then she notices that her baby hasn't moved much and she has been having back pain, which she think is just a normal thing for her. Then her water breaks. Believing the whole first babies take a while to come she thinks she has plenty of time to find help to get to the hospital. That's when she hears Axell downstairs. He find her trying to get things to leave. He orders her to lay down and he calls for help also asks what he needs to do in case the help doesn't get there in time.
After delivering Maya's baby he thinks the best solution for them is for he and Maya to marry and conquer things together. Her with her school and him with his liquor license on the line.
Do they get married? If they do, do they fall for each other and reveal their true feeling s for each other? What happens to the store, restaurant, and school? To find out you will have to read for yourself Dixie Rebel by Patricia Rice.
I hope your like this book as much as I did. Maybe you have read this book, tell me what you thought of it. I won't judge if you didn't like it.

Don't sign until you read... The Baby Contract
So this is an older book from Harlequin Super Romance. Copy right is dated for 1996. I picked it up at a yard sale for 10 cents so older can be better. The Baby Contract by Lynn Erickson was a page turner. At least in my opinion.
I spent only 2 days reading this book. It wasn't on my kindle, obviously since i bought the book at a yard sale. It has been a few days since i have read anything only because I was working my own work. I had made it to my original chapter 4, but now my old chapter 4 is now chapter 7. My old chapters have turned into 2 chapters. That's okay, but now I found another problem that I skipped over a whole thing without realizing it the 1st time I edited it. Oh well, I will fix so it is better and makes sense! Anyway, on with the book I just finished late last night.
You can buy it for just a few cents on amazon.com if you like. They have new and used copies. You may have already it if you been collecting Harlequin books for years.
Bettie Gay Bryson, like to be called B.G., was traveling from L.A. to Phoenix, AZ with then boyfriend, Jay Pearson. Jay had not gotten the gig he was hoping for in L.A., but had the promise of one in Phoenix. Along the way in Tuscon they were almost out of gas and found an exit only 2 miles away. Driving in on fumes Jay parks to pump gas, mean while B.G. goes into the Trading Post to use the washroom. When she exits the washroom she decides to browse while waiting for Jay to finish pumping gas. With only $8 between the 2 of them it shouldn't have taken so long. While browsing she is stopped in her tracks by Jay having the clerk at the cash register held up with a gun. She tried to yell at him, but he didn't listen. After he got the little bit of cash from the clerk he took off leaving her there at the gas station alone, no clothes, no money, and pregnant.
She was detained that night with Tuscon's police department, with them trying to get Jay's name out of her and she refused. Being in the position she is in detective Greg Tyrrell is called to possibly help him on a case he has been unsuccessful on so far. It is a case with a local lawyer who sells babies by pulling girls in and giving their babies a home but charging way more than a normal adoption fee, plus pays the girls to keep quiet.
Greg enlists B.G.'s help because she is a pregnant and alone. He had plenty of goals for his life and one of them was not to fall in love and start a family, at least not at this point in his life. B.G. was only hoping to find some way to have her baby and get on with her life even if it didn't include the baby's father. She didn't trust someone who wanted to use her anymore. She didn't expect someone as classy as Greg to lover her, or like her for that matter, especially in her state.
Do these to find adhere to their feelings? Do B.G. help put the lawyer behind bars? What happens to B.G.'s baby? What about Jay? To know these answer you will have to read The Baby Contract by Lynn Erickson. It is part of the 9 Months Later collection from Harlequin Super Romance.
Already read it? If you remember about it give me your opinion about. I welcome any opinion on any book I have read. If you read and liked or maybe you disliked let me know. Slacking a bit
I just want to let all you, my readers, know that I am slacking on reading right now. I am working on my own work for right now. I'm editing my 1st 9 chapters that actually will turn out to be more than that when I'm don't. More like 18 chapters give or take when I'm done editing this time around.
I am far from being done with writing. This is will only be my first and I have plans for 2 more works to follow in a trilogy If I get more ideas about my character then maybe I will make it a series, but I also have other ideas for other books too.
I want to thank you for your patience and I will keep you updated about how things are going. I know with it possibly already being as thick as Bared To You or Fifty Shades of Grey, I say it could be more than a trilogy. Be on the the look out hopefully for a book called The Dark of Night. I hope with in the next year or so. As long as things go the right way I can only hope it will be in print as well as available for download.
I might put my own writing up to read during the night when everyone goes to bed. Just keep a watch. I would also be willing to keep everyone updated on how I come a long with my own work.
Thank you for reading. post any questions, comments, and any recommendations are welcome too.

You know what sucks?
You know what sucks? Do you?
Waiting for something to charge. My battery level was low on my kindle when I finished reading the last book and finished with the last post. Now instead of reading the next book I will be working on my own book. Now I could read a hard copy of the many books i have sitting on my books shelf that I need to read so I can then pack them up and store them until our family buys a house that has a room for me to make into a library. *Dreaming*
Right now it is a good time to work on my own work instead of reading something by someone else since I have one of my little ones down for her afternoon nap. The other is playing quietly, for now, in his room. So see why now is a good time to do some editing of my work? Simple as that.
Plus I have to make time for it at some point. I have already spent over a year working on it. I don't want to be working on it for too long. I am also hoping it is something older teens/young adults would love to read. It deals with a topic that isn't talked about much. Depression. Especially that among teens.
So until my kindle is charged I will be doing some editing and maybe some writing. Have a wonderful day and thank you for reading!

You are awesome but I like... A Little Less Girl
Okay, so this one didn't take me very long, even though I probably could have finished it yesterday, but that wasn't happening since it was my daughter's birthday party. I spent all day yesterday cleaning up at my parent's place and making sure my mom didn't over do it being 3 weeks out from her surgery.
Last night I got home and tried to read the rest of the book I had open on my kindle, but that didn't happen either. We didn't get home until almost midnight. I did read 3 maybe 4 chapters last night though. I was woken up by the phone this morning and after that I got out of bed and finished the book.
A Little Less Girl by Tess Oliver was actually not bad. I wasn't sure what it was about, in fact I didn't really look at the title until halfway through the book. Even though I wasn't sure where the book was going to go. I figured it out a little later. This is more of a teen or young adult novel with only a hint of romance in it. Maybe good age 15 and older.
There are 2 narrators in this book, Jake and Dani. Each chapter one of them in the narrator, they interchange. This book follows a few weeks in the life of the 2 characters. Starting from the day before they meet each other for the first time.
Jake has to walk home from where a girl from school had supposedly committed suicide the year before because his jeep's transmission went out on him there. Before he headed he noticed that someone left a bowl of lime jell-o with a note saying "If there is no lime jell-o in heaven - D."
He walked into town and was stopped by a lady with tattoos asking directions to Crockett road. It also happened to be the mother to Dani. Dani is cousin to the girl, Amy, that had committed suicide. She knew about Jake West. Her cousin had been crazy about this guy. She also blamed him for the death of her cousin, just like the rest of Raynesville did.
Jake father has made him a deal and will pay for his tranny to be fixed if he takes up the coach of the swim team for the school offer to be assistance coach and join back on the team as a swimmer. He had quit the year before after Amy's death and also allowed his grades to slip.
Dani has decided since they have a preeminent home she was going to join the swim team again. She has started reading her cousin's, Amy, diary to find out why a person who was always full of life would just up and commit suicide. As she reads it she finds that her cousin was trying to lose weight. She was also kind of stalkery towards Jake. Amy recorded every time she seen Jake or if he talked to her and such. That was until she overheard him say something mean about her.
After that is when her diary went down hill. Dani's mission to find out why Amy commtted suicide and not fall for the guy who broke her cousin's spirit. Jake mission is to get through his last year of school and get out of town.,a try not to fall for the cousin of the girl who he beats himself up over when she killed herself.
Do you want to find out if Dani ever discovers why Amy committed suicide? If Amy actually committed suicide? If Dani and Jake can keep from falling for each other even though they both don't want don't want to fall for the other? Then you need get your Nook or Kindle version of A Little Less Girl by Tess Oliver. You can download for the kindle or Nook for $2.99. You can get a paperback copy, if you choose, for $8.99 from amazon.com or $9.99 from B&N.

Seeing through... Red Deception
So I only started reading this book, which is very short, so it is more like a short story than a book. I think it might only be like 6 chapters long if that. It was on my kindle, and I thought at first I downloaded a murder mystery book, jut by the title Red Deception by J.C. Murtagh. It isn't really. It is kind of a romance short story. This from what I read after finishing the story is to be her first published work.
I can't say I am in love with this work, but it was alright. There was just enough suspense to make me want to find out what happened to the characters in it. I got my downloaded copy for the kindle at amazon.com, it was free at the time, now is only $0.99 for a kindle download.
In this story Judith is send to get water to scrub the floor of the home they live in with her husband, son, and her husband's parents. While she is there she comes across something which she thought was an animal corpse, but in fact was the body of Lora Noire. She gets this thought in her head that, since Lora looks almost exactly the same, she could switch the clothing and she could go as Lora. Lora poisoned herself when she was being forced to marry Baron Blacwin. Judith in fact takes the Lora clothes and puts her own on the body of Lora. Hired help for the Noire family was looking for Lora and thought Judith to be her. Lyle Barnsby, the hired hand, takes Judith/Lora to Baron Blacwin.
Do you want to know how this ends? Do you want to know if she levaes behind her life of her husband and child to her in-laws that smack her around? Do you want to know if everyone or anyone for that matter finds out the truth? Does this make you want to read more? Then download your copy of Red Decption by J.C. Murtagh today and read it. You can get it at amazon.com for only $0.99.
Just remember this is a quick read. If you aren't very fast at reading, like myself, not that I want to read quickly and miss something good, it could take a hour or two at the most. I started really reading from page 2 or 3 at 11 pm EST and finished at about 12 am EST.
Do you want to find out more about this new author then you can find her on the web at www.JCMurtagh.com. Want to follow her on Twitter? You can find her @JCMurtagh. It says she is on Facebook, but no info on her page on there. Those were from her site.
I want to thank you for reading. I hope this may have giving you a good idea if you might like to read this book/short story or not. Have a question, comment, or even a recommendation of a book for me to read? Just leave it in the comment box below. Also, if you want to keep updated with every post about something I read and review and give my personal opinion on, be sure to like and follow my blog. Thank you, once again, so much for reading.
