I really didn't have a fun title for this one. I have to say I when I pulled this book up on my kindle I wasn't expecting it to be good at all. I sat there wondering where could a story go about a polar bear tattoo. I thought how could this book be any good at all. I have to say I was wrong about Life, Love, and a Polar Bear Tattoo - by Heather Wardell. It is a good book. I can't say great, but it is very good.
In the beginning Candice drop off her husband, Ian, at the airport for him to travel overseas for a project of building homes and schools in Bangladesh. After he departs she heads to work at a interior design company, she is not a designer though. When she get there she gets informed by her boss that they have a rush job to be done in shorter time than what they normally do work. Her boss, Lou, asks her to meet the client and help out in the beginning until she has completed the research part of everything.
In the meeting she finds the newest client to be an old flame from college, Kegan. It had been ten years since she has seen him. Some old feelings start to creep in. She was to be using the time while Ian was away to think about their marriage. Since Ian parents had been killed a little while before at Christmas time out getting her Christmas present Ian hasn't been the same.
Candice starts spending a lot of work hours and some out of work hours especially after she gets her phone call from her doctor informing her that she in fact did not have cancer as they had though she might. She even changes her whole look and gets a tattoo.
Where does her relationship Kegan go? Does everything get worked out with her husband? Does she choose to go with Kegan or stay with her husband? What happened when her husband was away?
To find out the answers you will have to read it for yourself. You can download it to you kindle at amazon.com, which is where I got mine for free. I can't say that it is still free, but you can see if it is. And you can get it on the author's website, http://heatherwardell.com/.
I enjoyed this book, so I hope you do as well. I will be reading the Crossfire novels next. The next book is will be released soon if it hasn't already and I am going to reread them again while I wait for the one I ordered a few months back before release.
I want to thank you for reading. Any and all comments, questions, and recommendations welcome! Thank you!
