Okay, so I have been trying to find some stuff on depression other than a how to detect it for over a year. Well, more like two years. I have tried emailing a physiologist, or two. I didn't get an answer for one, but the other one told me I should stick to what I know and not write about a depressed girl fighting her way out of it.
I have been off and on to search for info on depression. I have come across quotes from people that had been posted on a blog. After two years of struggling on how to get info on depression I finally found some blogs on it. I will be reading those on how people deal with and work on getting out of depression.
I have thought of taking a break just to read a little just for you lovely readers. I know if I do I will put my own writing on the back burner yet again. I am yet again editing. I got to my old chapter 9, now chapter 21, and lost my train of thought, but I am all about adding even more to the others. Fixing the chapters i do have so they make more sense. So they give you a picture, not just a bunch of words, of this girl struggling with depression to her trying to overcome it, as well as finding her way through life and making her way to adulthood.
I promise I will start reading again. I need my books like I need to breath. I sorry I'm taking so long to get on with the next read. I hope you are being patient. I am glad for those who are. thank you so much.
Thank you for reading!

A break in time
So as I had said in my last post when I posted maybe a week or so ago, I am pausing for a time with reading to work on my own work. I did get all of what I have so far edited, but I think it still isn't perfect. I am still working on and haven't felt like reading work by anyone else. I keep sitting here trying to figure out how the best way to get across what it is I want to say in my writing that I get lost. I promise I will read again. I love reading and I can't stay away for long.
Today Harry Potter had been on t.v. so I have been watching that with my mini me. She keeps me busy most days along with my other little monster. Along with trying to deal with my husbands new work schedule and soon school will be starting and I will be send off my oldest to kindergarten for the first time. Those of you who have children that are school age know what I'm talking about. It is end of July and it is time to start buying school clothes and supplies and getting everything ready for that first day of school and busy sports schedules, if your children play sports. My kindergartener will be playing soccer.
I thank you for you patience while I am dealing with some weird private home life and a major work I have been working on. I want it perfect before I even think about sending anything to a Lit. agent or publisher. I will keep updating as I work, it just might be less often than every few days.
Thank you for your continued support. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read what I have to say. I promise if you have something to say I will take the time to read what you have to say. We all have our opinions, and as long as you respect mine I will respect yours.
Thank you for reading. Keep an eye out for the next!

A pause in time.
So I finally did finish that last book. I was very disappointed in the ending. I can only hope that my work is a lot better than that. It's usually rare that I find a book I don't like as much as that one. Well, I can say there were a few series I was to I should read that I couldn't even finish the books, they bored me that much and i just didn't care how they ended. Namely Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, and there was something else but I can't think of it right now. I have watched the movies. Can't say I liked those that much either. I know they are classics. I prefer The Hobbit to the others. That I have read. We had to read that in school when I was younger. I can't remember what year, but I did. I have read some other Sci-Fi books that I have liked a lot. I guess some things are just better than others.
So I am taking a pause for minute or two to work on my own writing. Last night I started editing from my original chapter 4, that by the time I was done with the editing is now chapter 7 and 8. I originally had 9 chapters it is now up to 21 chapters, with still more to get done. I have over 35000 word count and still going. Not sure if it will ever get to the 130000 word count like Twilight is, but I may get close. I am far from done with this one and it could become more than one book. I only can cross my fingers and hope that once I finished I can persuade someone to publish it.
I have yet to find a book that has a teenage girl dealing with depression. If someone knows of a fictional book of this please leave me the title and author of the book. I would like to see other perspective on it. No I do not what it to plagiarize someone's work. I like being inspired though. I t makes me work that much harder to get things done. Unless it is cleaning that is.
So if I seem MIA for the next few days or so then I am sorry. I'm also rereading Fifty Shades of Grey. When I'm not working on my stuff. I actually started last night about 6 pm once I finished coloring my hair and didn't quit until 4 am this morning.
So I'm on a roll with getting this done, and I still have one full original chapter to edit before finish off my new chapter 21. Then I get to add more to my work.
In the meantime, if you have any ideas on a book for me to dig into leave me the info on it. You can leave any comments or questions as well.
Thank you for reading. On to the next read very soon.

I don't want to go to... Parts Unknown
Please, someone scrape my eyeballs out and clean out with bleach. Parts Unknown by S. P. Davidson is so awful. It is driving me nuts because I want to know how it is ends, but then again I just want to throw my kindle at the wall and so forget it. I am going to finish it, but only so I can get the answer to who this woman ends up with.
I have read boring books before, but this one is way past boring. This one sucks balls. Sorry for weird uncalled for sayings, but I have been repeating these sayings with every turn of a page. If you're offended, I am sorry, but you would only have to read this book to understand. This will be a short review/opinion of the book. Only because it sucks. If it were a paper book I would be taking it back to get my money back, but it is not.
You can't judge a book by its cover. Not ever!
So Vivian Lewis is from a low income type family. She wants to be an artist. She is off at college and decides to do a year abroad. She meets Josh, the man of her dreams and an aspiring writer. They spend 3 weeks together before she starts her studies abroad and he goes home to finish his senior year of college.
5 years later? She is married to an older gentleman, George, a professor at the local college in L.A. He is a momma's boy. His mother doe not approve of Vivian, but they have supplied her with a grand-daughter. Vivian finds an ad in the newspaper that shows her 3 week fling and love of her life will be at the local B&N for a book signing.
She starts painting again. It has been a long time since she has painted, it is just something her husband doesn't understand.
Do you need to know if she leaves her husband to be with the love her life, or does she stay in a safe marriage? You are more than welcome to download your copy of Parts Unknown by S. P. Davidson. You have been warned that it isn't great or even good. Once again that is my opinion. You may not agree. That is for you to decide. Just so you know it is $2.99 at amazon.com for download. I got mine for free, but if I had known about it and had paid money I feel I would have wasted money on something I could have gotten something better with.
Questions, comments, and recommendations welcome. Just leave them in the comment box. As so to keep updated with ever new post be sure to follow.

I am... The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back.
I have to say The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back by Sariah Wilson, was really good. I am all about the Cinderella stories. It is my favorite Disney movie from when I was a little girl, and is still my favorite today. I have watch the Disney Cinderella Story movies they air on t.v. It never gets old. At least not for me. If you have a teenage daughter that loves those kind of movies then this is definitely the book for her. Even for yourself if you enjoy them as well.
I wish I could be Cinderella sometimes, but of course that is just a fantasy. A much as I like these kind of stories, it is not something I could write. At least not at the moment. I have other things I am choosing to write about in my own work that is far from love, but not completely. It is a YA novel, but it deals with more than the high school affairs.
Off the more depressing things for now. I don't want to ruin my mood from finishing the book. I'm in such a giddy mood that I have to go back and keep fixing my spelling because I am typing faster than my mind is working. Oh wait, that's all the time. Also the reason why I have to go back and edit a lot too. Well, actually the editing I had been working, still working on, is mainly so I can make sure things are pieced together correctly. I have the problem with having one idea and while I am putting that all together another one comes in and I have to write that down, so then I go back to first one and forget what I was doing and have to start from the beginning.
So I have to say getting away from my own work sometimes gets me to where I need to be. This one, however, does no such things since it way off topic. Although there are similar things. The struggles teens go through, things that some actually deal with in real life, if not completely accurate. I guess you can't too accurate, you have to put something in there that will catch the readers, so they continue to read your work. That is just what Sariah Wilson did with this work of hers.
So there is Matilda Lowe, as everyone in school knows her Mattie, and at home she is Tilly, She is a Senior in high school and is majorly in love with Jake Kingston, a.k.a her stepsister's boyfriend. She has not actually talked to him since she ran into him in her home outside the bathroom after she had finished with her shower. After that the next time she had any conversation with him is when they were both in detention on the second day of school their senior year.
Mattie has never told anyone, besides maybe her guy friend, Trent Holden, that she likes Jake. Jake is the jock, who is smart and does nice things for everyone. He tries to con Mattie into covering for him in detention so he can leave when the supervising teacher goes out of the room and leaves them a lone.
After that is the first time she tells her stepsister, Ella Christensen, that she is in love with Jake. Ella immediately breaks up with Jake. Then they have a class assignment they have to work on and he yet again tries to get to get her to cover for him. He wants her to do all the work and just tell him what he has to say when they do the presentation. Yet again she stands up for herself and doesn't it let him get away with it.
With all this liking Jake she feels like she will never have a chance with him because she isn't extremely beautiful, not popular, not into doing a whole lot of anything other than drawing.
Do you want to know if she ever gets her prince? How she handles the stress of figuring out if a boy she likes really likes her or is using her? How she deals with the pressure of others teasing her for who she likes? Then you will have to read The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back by Sariah Wilson.

A forewarning about... The Ugly Stepsister Strikes Back
I did not know this before I started reading this I did not realize this was a Young Adult novel. So if that is not your then this is a forewarning for you if you don't like YA books.
From what I read so far it sounds pretty good. Good for your teenage daughters, if you have those. I figured since most of my posts consist of romance or fantasy romance, but sometimes I put in some other genre here and there, and usually I have some type forewarning as what it might genre the book might be from, but this one I had no clue.
I thought it was about some stepsisters that grew up and are fighting over one man, but it is not. So this is your warning now if you haven't downloaded it yet or started reading it.
Thank you!

I want... Three Days With Molly.
Not really, but you get the hint. Three Days With Molly by Jan Romes was a page turning, funny story. It was a short story, but still quite funny. I would love me a hot, steamy musician like the one in this book. Yum yum!
I might not be the prettiest girl on the block and this is how the lovely lead female feels in this book, but if a man like the would have given me the time of day, I would have jumped. Now, I am happy in what I have now, but given the chance before marriage, before kids... I might have actually gone a different path. Not every happy couple/family is what the people may want down the line. Not every one of those marriages end in divorce, those people only dream of what they wish they could have, but not actually act on those dreams. So do, but not in my stories I read. Then again they get what they want.
If this momma got what she wanted she would be on the west coast. I would take me a hot and steamy musician, but my fantasy is a Christian Grey or Gideon Cross. In fact I would die if I could actually play the part of Anastasia Steele. I wish I could play her part, but I am not a big Hollywood hotshot, and I have never acted a day in my life, at least not in any plays, well not since the 6th grade, and not any crap job of a movie like most actors start out as.
Aside from that now, I am here to talk about Three Days With Molly, not my hopes and dreams that I use to have and things I wish was. This book was a laughter in itself. It had me turning pages to see what the characters did next.
Finn Riley, a famous Country Rock star, was talking to his agent, well really just agreeing with his agent that he needs an assistant. Finn hates other people in his space, which is why he had a separate tour bus from the rest of his band just so he has a clean organized area for himself.
In walks Molly Williams, an assistant to a divorce lawyer, asked by the stars agent to be his assistant for Finn's summer tour. Cork, the agent, and Molly have known each other for years. Their parents are friends and he use to be the one to pull her pig tails on the bus to school. He asked Molly to do this apparently in hopes of creating a good match. What Cork didn't know is that they would both fight any feelings from the start.
Do you want to know if the 3 days they spend together on the tour bus brings close to one another? Do you want to know if Finn ever quits being so harsh to everyone? Do they give in to their feelings? Find out by getting you copy of Three Days With Molly by Jan Romes. I got mine from amazon.com for free, but right now it is available for download for only $0.99.

Only going... Once Around
Once Around by Barbara Bretton was definitely a page turner. I couldn't put the book down. I reluctantly did last night/this morning at about 3 am. Not all the chapters are marked so when I was waiting for the next chapter all I would come across was the # symbol. Every once in a while there would be a chapter number, but not so very often.
Last night it was only myself and my baby girl who decided at 8:30 pm EST, she was going to bed. There were fireworks that was held for one of local festivities last night and they didn't start until 10 pm. Instead of going to watch those and meet up with my parents who had my lovely son there I relaxed, waiting to see if they brought him home last night afterward the fact or took him back home with them. By 11:00 pm I was back in bed reading a page turner that I only finished about 10 minutes ago.
I hope this is a page turner for everyone who reads romance novels like I do. I don't think this book will go on my list of must read a hundred times, like Fifty Shades of Grey and the CrossFire novels, but it was good. You can decide if you wish to read it just from what I give you about the book. I promise I won't give away the ending that way you have to read if you want to know what happens to the characters.
First set of characters.
Molly Chamberlain is talking on the phone with her soon to be ex-husband, when he says he wants to come home... to get his stuff. She is about 4 months pregnant and he had left her 2 months before for a judge's daughter. After a doctor's appointment the following day she stops at the store to get some things and finds she no longer has credit cards, plus no cash on hand. She heads home only to find her husband cleaned out the house they had shared together, leaving her only the stuff that had been in the guest bedroom from their old apartment.
Rafeal Garrick was walking up to the house when he heard a curdling scream come from inside the intended house of his approach. He raced in and just in time to catch Molly when she almost fell to the floor. She told him what happened and he reluctantly helped her. Gave her some used furniture, and worked off the money that Molly's husband had put a down payment to the Rafe to finish the basement in the house, by doing odd thing around the house. Rafe had fallen for her the first night when she fell into his arms, but he had a dirty secret. (Which you will have to read the book to find out what it is.)
Second set of characters.
Spencer Mackenzie is Molly's divorce lawyer. He is from a well-to-do family that is from Greenwich. He had moved to NYC/Jersey area due to family problems. He thinks he is in love with Molly, is waiting until she is free and clear of her husband, Robert, to make his move. He has never known real love being the second best to his older , deceased, brother. He thought all marriages were the same. That was until he found Jessy.
Jessy Wyatt is from Mississippi. She came to Jersey for residency after being in Dallas for her internship. she is practicing to become a OB-GYN. She becomes a border in Molly's home when Molly finds she wasn't going to be able to pay for things on her own with her part time work she did at home for the publishing company she worked for. The day of meeting he new, landlady is when she meets Spencer, and knows she is in love. She has found her dream. Now she just has to find away to take his eyes off Molly, and get his eyes on her.
Do both sets of characters figure things out? Does the line of Jessy loves Spencer, Spencer loves Molly, Rafe love Molly end and they find the one they are to love? You will have to read Once Around by Barbara Bretton to find out.
I got my copy for free on amazon.com, but right now it is not free. You can download it for $2.99 for the kindle. Not sure about the other ones. Haven't had time to look yet. I will warn you though, since I forgot to before, there are a lot of mistakes with spelling in this book. That is if they haven't already fixed it and updated it. I haven't updated mine. I only downloaded it maybe a month ago. It might be longer since I haven't been downloading anything new for a month or so. I want to read down some of these books. There are so many on my kindle and I usually download 3 or more a day, but I don't read 3 or more books a day. If I did this blog would be blowing up with all kinds of info on books. Plus I don't read quite that fast. I could read a Harlequin book from 9 am to 3 or 5 pm on a good day and that was before I had kids.
So if you want to find more reads by this author, which I think I seen there was 50 or more of her work other there floating around, then I have a list for you below of all the way to keep up with Barbara Bretton.

One to the next with Three Days With Molly by Jan Romes.

I'm the Dixie good girl amd she is the... Dixie Rebel
This one I started reading 2 mornings ago, and finished this morning at 12:30 am. I enjoyed it very much. I certainly am not a Dixie girl, but I love the South, especially North Carolina. I have vacationed there a few times pre-marriage and kids. I had a blast, and wish I could move there. That is one of the many places I would love to move to. So being that I love the NC so much it isn't out of norm that I love the book Dixie Rebel by Patricia Rice.
I was sucked right into this book. It is part of the Carolina Magnolia Series and is book 1 of the series. There are 3 other books in the series. They are want I want to read, but will have to wait until my lovely husband is on his regular schedule at his new job, plus we get our bills caught up, before I can buy them. Dixie Rebel I downloaded for free from amazon.com a month or so ago. It is now $0.99. The other are $3.99 or more. Those will go on my list to buy. Now that is a long list, but will get bought since I am an avid reader.
Maya Alyssum is running her sister's shop while she is incarcerated for drugs. She is also caring for her nephew Matty, as well as trying to keep herself afloat alone with her own baby due in a few weeks. She had come into Wadeville, NC from CA with only a few items. She also got together with a local when she moved to town, and they opened a school for after regular school called The Impossible Dream. It is a place where all kids can go no mater how much money or how little money or how smart or learning level they are at, to feel as if they belong and that their dreams can come true.
Axell Holm is the council board and the Mayor wants him to get Maya to shut down the school she is running because he wants the land the mansion is on for a road he wants to put in that will go to the shopping center he has plans to put in. When Axell walks into the shop he isn't sure what to expect but he doesn't expect to be attracted to a pregnant Maya. He denies to himself that he is attracted to her. Talks to her about being on her side of not allowing the mayor to take away her school.
A few weeks go by with a little communication between the 2 and Maya's sister's store gets condemned and she is staying on the top floors of the mansion when it rains and floods the road to the school. It is then she notices that her baby hasn't moved much and she has been having back pain, which she think is just a normal thing for her. Then her water breaks. Believing the whole first babies take a while to come she thinks she has plenty of time to find help to get to the hospital. That's when she hears Axell downstairs. He find her trying to get things to leave. He orders her to lay down and he calls for help also asks what he needs to do in case the help doesn't get there in time.
After delivering Maya's baby he thinks the best solution for them is for he and Maya to marry and conquer things together. Her with her school and him with his liquor license on the line.
Do they get married? If they do, do they fall for each other and reveal their true feeling s for each other? What happens to the store, restaurant, and school? To find out you will have to read for yourself Dixie Rebel by Patricia Rice.
I hope your like this book as much as I did. Maybe you have read this book, tell me what you thought of it. I won't judge if you didn't like it.

Don't sign until you read... The Baby Contract
So this is an older book from Harlequin Super Romance. Copy right is dated for 1996. I picked it up at a yard sale for 10 cents so older can be better. The Baby Contract by Lynn Erickson was a page turner. At least in my opinion.
I spent only 2 days reading this book. It wasn't on my kindle, obviously since i bought the book at a yard sale. It has been a few days since i have read anything only because I was working my own work. I had made it to my original chapter 4, but now my old chapter 4 is now chapter 7. My old chapters have turned into 2 chapters. That's okay, but now I found another problem that I skipped over a whole thing without realizing it the 1st time I edited it. Oh well, I will fix so it is better and makes sense! Anyway, on with the book I just finished late last night.
You can buy it for just a few cents on amazon.com if you like. They have new and used copies. You may have already it if you been collecting Harlequin books for years.
Bettie Gay Bryson, like to be called B.G., was traveling from L.A. to Phoenix, AZ with then boyfriend, Jay Pearson. Jay had not gotten the gig he was hoping for in L.A., but had the promise of one in Phoenix. Along the way in Tuscon they were almost out of gas and found an exit only 2 miles away. Driving in on fumes Jay parks to pump gas, mean while B.G. goes into the Trading Post to use the washroom. When she exits the washroom she decides to browse while waiting for Jay to finish pumping gas. With only $8 between the 2 of them it shouldn't have taken so long. While browsing she is stopped in her tracks by Jay having the clerk at the cash register held up with a gun. She tried to yell at him, but he didn't listen. After he got the little bit of cash from the clerk he took off leaving her there at the gas station alone, no clothes, no money, and pregnant.
She was detained that night with Tuscon's police department, with them trying to get Jay's name out of her and she refused. Being in the position she is in detective Greg Tyrrell is called to possibly help him on a case he has been unsuccessful on so far. It is a case with a local lawyer who sells babies by pulling girls in and giving their babies a home but charging way more than a normal adoption fee, plus pays the girls to keep quiet.
Greg enlists B.G.'s help because she is a pregnant and alone. He had plenty of goals for his life and one of them was not to fall in love and start a family, at least not at this point in his life. B.G. was only hoping to find some way to have her baby and get on with her life even if it didn't include the baby's father. She didn't trust someone who wanted to use her anymore. She didn't expect someone as classy as Greg to lover her, or like her for that matter, especially in her state.
Do these to find adhere to their feelings? Do B.G. help put the lawyer behind bars? What happens to B.G.'s baby? What about Jay? To know these answer you will have to read The Baby Contract by Lynn Erickson. It is part of the 9 Months Later collection from Harlequin Super Romance.

Slacking a bit
I just want to let all you, my readers, know that I am slacking on reading right now. I am working on my own work for right now. I'm editing my 1st 9 chapters that actually will turn out to be more than that when I'm don't. More like 18 chapters give or take when I'm done editing this time around.
I am far from being done with writing. This is will only be my first and I have plans for 2 more works to follow in a trilogy If I get more ideas about my character then maybe I will make it a series, but I also have other ideas for other books too.
I want to thank you for your patience and I will keep you updated about how things are going. I know with it possibly already being as thick as Bared To You or Fifty Shades of Grey, I say it could be more than a trilogy. Be on the the look out hopefully for a book called The Dark of Night. I hope with in the next year or so. As long as things go the right way I can only hope it will be in print as well as available for download.
I might put my own writing up to read during the night when everyone goes to bed. Just keep a watch. I would also be willing to keep everyone updated on how I come a long with my own work.
Thank you for reading. post any questions, comments, and any recommendations are welcome too.

You know what sucks?
You know what sucks? Do you?
Waiting for something to charge. My battery level was low on my kindle when I finished reading the last book and finished with the last post. Now instead of reading the next book I will be working on my own book. Now I could read a hard copy of the many books i have sitting on my books shelf that I need to read so I can then pack them up and store them until our family buys a house that has a room for me to make into a library. *Dreaming*
Right now it is a good time to work on my own work instead of reading something by someone else since I have one of my little ones down for her afternoon nap. The other is playing quietly, for now, in his room. So see why now is a good time to do some editing of my work? Simple as that.
Plus I have to make time for it at some point. I have already spent over a year working on it. I don't want to be working on it for too long. I am also hoping it is something older teens/young adults would love to read. It deals with a topic that isn't talked about much. Depression. Especially that among teens.
So until my kindle is charged I will be doing some editing and maybe some writing. Have a wonderful day and thank you for reading!

You are awesome but I like... A Little Less Girl
Okay, so this one didn't take me very long, even though I probably could have finished it yesterday, but that wasn't happening since it was my daughter's birthday party. I spent all day yesterday cleaning up at my parent's place and making sure my mom didn't over do it being 3 weeks out from her surgery.
Last night I got home and tried to read the rest of the book I had open on my kindle, but that didn't happen either. We didn't get home until almost midnight. I did read 3 maybe 4 chapters last night though. I was woken up by the phone this morning and after that I got out of bed and finished the book.
A Little Less Girl by Tess Oliver was actually not bad. I wasn't sure what it was about, in fact I didn't really look at the title until halfway through the book. Even though I wasn't sure where the book was going to go. I figured it out a little later. This is more of a teen or young adult novel with only a hint of romance in it. Maybe good age 15 and older.
There are 2 narrators in this book, Jake and Dani. Each chapter one of them in the narrator, they interchange. This book follows a few weeks in the life of the 2 characters. Starting from the day before they meet each other for the first time.
Jake has to walk home from where a girl from school had supposedly committed suicide the year before because his jeep's transmission went out on him there. Before he headed he noticed that someone left a bowl of lime jell-o with a note saying "If there is no lime jell-o in heaven - D."
He walked into town and was stopped by a lady with tattoos asking directions to Crockett road. It also happened to be the mother to Dani. Dani is cousin to the girl, Amy, that had committed suicide. She knew about Jake West. Her cousin had been crazy about this guy. She also blamed him for the death of her cousin, just like the rest of Raynesville did.
Jake father has made him a deal and will pay for his tranny to be fixed if he takes up the coach of the swim team for the school offer to be assistance coach and join back on the team as a swimmer. He had quit the year before after Amy's death and also allowed his grades to slip.
Dani has decided since they have a preeminent home she was going to join the swim team again. She has started reading her cousin's, Amy, diary to find out why a person who was always full of life would just up and commit suicide. As she reads it she finds that her cousin was trying to lose weight. She was also kind of stalkery towards Jake. Amy recorded every time she seen Jake or if he talked to her and such. That was until she overheard him say something mean about her.
After that is when her diary went down hill. Dani's mission to find out why Amy commtted suicide and not fall for the guy who broke her cousin's spirit. Jake mission is to get through his last year of school and get out of town.,a try not to fall for the cousin of the girl who he beats himself up over when she killed herself.
Do you want to find out if Dani ever discovers why Amy committed suicide? If Amy actually committed suicide? If Dani and Jake can keep from falling for each other even though they both don't want don't want to fall for the other? Then you need get your Nook or Kindle version of A Little Less Girl by Tess Oliver. You can download for the kindle or Nook for $2.99. You can get a paperback copy, if you choose, for $8.99 from amazon.com or $9.99 from B&N.
To find out more about the author Tess Oliver and contact her, or find more books, you can go to her website www.tessoliver.com. Her email is toliverbooks@gmail.com. You can find her Facebook also on Twitter. Her Twitter handle is @Tess_Oliver.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. You can tell me how you liked or didn't like it, if you decided to read it, in the comment box below.

Seeing through... Red Deception
So I only started reading this book, which is very short, so it is more like a short story than a book. I think it might only be like 6 chapters long if that. It was on my kindle, and I thought at first I downloaded a murder mystery book, jut by the title Red Deception by J.C. Murtagh. It isn't really. It is kind of a romance short story. This from what I read after finishing the story is to be her first published work.
I can't say I am in love with this work, but it was alright. There was just enough suspense to make me want to find out what happened to the characters in it. I got my downloaded copy for the kindle at amazon.com, it was free at the time, now is only $0.99 for a kindle download.
In this story Judith is send to get water to scrub the floor of the home they live in with her husband, son, and her husband's parents. While she is there she comes across something which she thought was an animal corpse, but in fact was the body of Lora Noire. She gets this thought in her head that, since Lora looks almost exactly the same, she could switch the clothing and she could go as Lora. Lora poisoned herself when she was being forced to marry Baron Blacwin. Judith in fact takes the Lora clothes and puts her own on the body of Lora. Hired help for the Noire family was looking for Lora and thought Judith to be her. Lyle Barnsby, the hired hand, takes Judith/Lora to Baron Blacwin.
Do you want to know how this ends? Do you want to know if she levaes behind her life of her husband and child to her in-laws that smack her around? Do you want to know if everyone or anyone for that matter finds out the truth? Does this make you want to read more? Then download your copy of Red Decption by J.C. Murtagh today and read it. You can get it at amazon.com for only $0.99.
Just remember this is a quick read. If you aren't very fast at reading, like myself, not that I want to read quickly and miss something good, it could take a hour or two at the most. I started really reading from page 2 or 3 at 11 pm EST and finished at about 12 am EST.
Do you want to find out more about this new author then you can find her on the web at www.JCMurtagh.com. Want to follow her on Twitter? You can find her @JCMurtagh. It says she is on Facebook, but no info on her page on there. Those were from her site.
I want to thank you for reading. I hope this may have giving you a good idea if you might like to read this book/short story or not. Have a question, comment, or even a recommendation of a book for me to read? Just leave it in the comment box below. Also, if you want to keep updated with every post about something I read and review and give my personal opinion on, be sure to like and follow my blog. Thank you, once again, so much for reading.

Happy 4th of July!
How was all my lovely reader's 4th of July here in the good ole U.S.A.? Mine was busy as usual. I attended the in-law's picnic early this afternoon. Then I headed to my own family's picnic at one of my uncle's house. We only went to swim. First time I was ever in a salt water pool and heated at that. It was a nice day. We got home at about 6 pm EST to eat a little dinner with my dear husband who had to go into work today. After that we trekked down the street to my sister-in-law's for some fireworks.
The good thing about having family just down the street is that I don't have to drive. I just have to load up my daughter into her stroller and whatever I am taking with me, tonight was my sneakers and bug spray, and walk down with my 5 year old tailing along beside me.
I just started my next book tonight when I got home. Stopped to watch something that was on t.v. It was some concert type thing that was in NYC tonight. The fireworks display they showed on t.v. just ended. I will be heading back into bed to relax and keep on reading my next read.
I just stopped by to see how everyone's holiday was doing. I hope everyone is being safe tonight and into the weekend as we celebrate the freedom of our beautiful country of the U.S.A. Have a good and safe night and I will be back again as soon as I finish with my next kindle read!
Thank you for reading.

Going to the Highlands in hopes to see... A Thistle in the Mist
This one didn't take as long for me to read as the last one, mainly because I played lazy today after I got home from my doctor's appointment and read until about 4:30 p.m. EST. A Thistle in the Mist - Megan Denby for me, was a quick read. As most know or you may have figured out I am a big romance fan. I will read just about anything that is romance. It also has to be a page turner too. It can make me cry all it wants as long as it keeps me interested the whole way through the book.
What really irks me is when I think a book is going to push right on through, but in the beginning it lags and all it makes me want to do is toss the book and never touch it again. A lot of times I will trudge through those crappy beginnings and finish just because I want to know what happens. A Thistle in the Mist was not like that though.
It is actually a historical romance taking place in 1808 and 1809, maybe 1810 in the last chapter or so, in Scotland as well as Canada.
It starts out with a lassie name Meara. Her mother falls down the stone stairs dies from a bad head injury. Her father goes into a grief state of shock. Her sister morns deeply as well, but not like the father. Diedre, their supposed aunt then tells Meara that she has married their father so they have a mother. The father starts to become ill. Like he is being poisoned or medicated. Meara brings a doctor and confirms something isn't right, but can't say what. Meara decides she will take her father away from the prying of her supposed aunt and uncle who live under the same roof. When she wakes the morning to take him away he is gone and only her aunt Diedre and uncle Sloan knows where he is.
Meara then secretly marries her childhood playmate, Duncan. He is in the Scotland military and is training to fight against Napoleon, that is if he had decided to take Spain. Which he did and Duncan was sent off to war and was only suppose to be gone for a month and he said he would be back to take Meara and her sister Hannah to his home.
6 weeks after he takes leave Meara finds she carries Duncan bairn.
To find out what happens to these 2 loves, if Duncan comes back from war, if Meara survives through childbirth, what really is going in behind closed door? You will need to read for yerself A Thistle in the Mist by Megan Denby. I got my download copy at amazon.com for my kindle. I downloaded mine for free when it was available, I just check only a minute ago and so far it is still free. If you decide not to download it now then it could go back to being $2.99 for the download. You could also get it in paperback at $11.52 from amazon.com.
If you would like to know this author more you can drop by her website at www.megandenby.com. You can email her at writeherewaiting@gmail.com. She has a blog notyouaveragelassie.blogspot.ca. I haven't located a Twitter handle, but then I haven't checked out her website or blog yet. She does have a Facebook though. facebook.com/AuthorMegan.
I want to thank you for reading. I appreciate anyone who take a few moments to read whatever they can. I figure if I am interested in a book there maybe someone out they may not know about and I need share it so they know what is good in our own opinions. Might I remind you this is my own opinion about the books I read. I may or may not like a book, but that doesn't mean that has to make you like or not like the same things I read. You can sit there and say "Hey she liked it, so maybe I will like it" and that will get you to at least start it. If you think you might like and read it to find you do or don't like and wish to share your opinion with me I will not judge you. I ask in return you do not judge what I read. If like a book that you don't that becomes our own personal opinion about the book, but don't be harsh about those who like a book that you do not. Everyone likes something different. We all do not like the same things.
Before I forget if you like this book then keep watch for the next which will be out in August of 2013 called Lost to the Mist - Megan Denby. Meara is in that one as well.
Thank you for reading. Post any comments, questions, and even recommendations on some good reads!

The land of the living. The land of... Bad Vibes
So after what 2 weeks give or take some days I have finally finished Bad Vibes: The Edge of Texas ~ Book 3 J.D. Faver. It is the 3rd book in the series. I have only read the 1st one and this one. When i downloaded them Book 1 was in March of 2012 it was free, and then book 3 a few months ago it was free. Which could mean book 2 wasn't ever free to download or I didn't see it for free to download. As far as I know right now neither are free for download, but you can purchase it for download on amazon.com.
As for the book. I'm still making up my mind if I really liked it or just liked it. It was good I can say that much. Always on my seat on whether or not they are going to catch the bad guys or not. This is a romantic suspense by the way.
Mike Burke, the main man, was on the docks posing as a homeless man when Darla, police officer and main lady, is running her patrol and finds him in position. She tells him to move along and that she would be back in a short time to make sure he was gone. She locates him once again and takes him to the station. That is where local Sheriff Rafel Solis, same Raffy from book 1, finds Mike is undercover in the area for human trafficking.
Cassie, a local high school teacher, another local high school teacher get kidnapped after reporting a high school football player for attacking Cassie in the teacher lounge after she had giving him a failing grade for not doing the work required of him. Darla was pulled in on assignment with Mike and his partner Freddy. Cassie just so happened to be her friend. Mike made it his mission after falling for lovely Darla, to save Cassie if she could be saved from the people that were responsible for human trafficking.
To find out if Darla and Mike ever stay together, or if Cassie and the other teacher get rescued read for yourself Bad Vibes by J.D. Faver. You can follow her on Twitter @JDFaverauthor or find her on Facebook. She also has a website which I got from my kindle download www.jdfaver.com.
Thank you for reading. All questions, comments, and reading recommendations welcome. Now onto the next read! Thank you!
