They always change the - Rules of the Game

It has been a few weeks since I have sat down to read anything besides my own writing, that right now is being edited by my friend and editor. Last week while buying my kids some new movies to watch, since my son has been big on Teen Beach Movie from the Disney channel, I had to make sure I got that for him like I had promised. Plus, my two year old wanted a new movie, and apparently not some cartoon movie either. She picked out Disney channel's Austin and Ally. It has 7 episodes on it. Buying those plus, buying the first season of Vampire Diaries, which I still have yet to watch any seasons. That is when I bought my latest read.

Did I ever say how much I love reading anything Nora Roberts reads? Well, one of her books is what I got to read now.  The book is Forever, which has two stories in it. I have read one so far. Rules of the Game was compelling and had a lot of baseball in it.

I'm not a big baseball fan. i like watching the little ones play, but not much for the majors. Plus, I don't understand any of the lingo in baseball, so it ends at just watching and cheering on my family members that play. Now if my one cousin had been able to make it to the big time I might have paid more attention to the lingo.

Brooke is commercial producer, Parks Jones is a baseball player for the Kings in LA.

Parks agent has him in a contact with a clothing line, De Marco, to shoot commercials with the top commercial producer in the business.
Brooke is the producer selected to do the commercials for De Marco line.
Brooke's boss takes her to a home game for her to watch Parks play. That is when they first meet. Well, not so much meet, but he asks her name as he is trying to catch the foul ball that goes into the stands.  After that he takes her out for dinner. He finds she works int he filming industry, but does not reveal that she will his boss when filming commercials. They then meet again at a party hosted by Brooke's boss for the De Marco line, that is where he finds out that she will be the producer he will be working with.
He is upset that she omitted that on their date.
Brooke has been on her own for most of her life. She grew up bouncing from one foster home to another. She once gave her heart to someone she thought she loved for him to take everything she owned and left her only a note. The question is can she ever give her heart to someone who could truely love her?

To find out if she gives her stone heart to someone who will help heal and protect you will have to get your own copy of Nora Roberts Forever to read Rules of the Game. Along with that you will also be able to read The Heart's Victory.

Thank you for reading. Share any questions or comments or anything at all in the comment box. Keep up-to-date by following. Every time I post a new read review you will be notified, before I post it to Twitter.
